I love this description of Chinese Web sites. They're "hot and noisy" ("renao" in Chinese pinyin). As search engine marketer Gord Hotchkiss puts it:
"To Western eyes, a native Chinese web page is often an abomination in design, completely amateurish and awkward... the fact is, the Chinese prefer a presentation (that) is loaded with visual stimuli. They even have a word for it. Renao. Loosely translated it means "hot and noisy." If you visit China, this manifests itself around every corner. In the cities, commercial ads scream for attention. A walk down the street is a sensual assault, a tsunami of stimuli that hits you on multiple levels."

Hi Debbie
My website concerns Agatha Christie, the famous crime writer. I want to blog to people in China about her real lifetime adventures and her personality.
She was an amazing 'blogger' having written over a hundred books and some personal accounts about her adventures and exciting trips into her mind and to far away lands.
How can I find out who would be interested in Agatha Christie and blog to them?
Warmest regards
Henry

Fascinating! Here in the US clients always ask for a design that is "open" and "clean" and if they're really adventurous, "edgy," which could mean any range of things.
But never hot and noisy!

Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity. So let us seize it, not in fear, but in gladness. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for circumstances they want, and if they cannot find them, make them.so come on everyone.

After a certain point, she became impassive, detached utterly from him
